देवउठनी एकादशी 2019: किन बातों का पालन करना जरुरी है?

आषाढ़ शुक्ल एकादशी को भगवान विष्णु चार माह के लिए सो जाते है उसके बाद में कार्तिक शुक्ल एकादशी को जागते है। इस एकादशी के दिन से ही चतुर्मास का भी अंत हो जाता है। इसी वजह से कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी को देवउठनी एकादशी कहा जाता है। इस एकादशी को हरी प्रबोधिनी एकादशी और देवोत्थान एकादशी भी कहा जाता है। मांगलिक कार्य प्रारंभ देवउठनी एकादशी से मांगलिक कार्य प्रारंभ होते है। जो चतुर्मास होता है उसमे देवशयन के कारण समस्त मांगलिक कार्य वर्जित हो जाते है। जब देव जागते है तभी मांगलिक कार्य वापस प्रारंभ होते है। चतुर्मास में किसी भी तरह के मांगलिक कार्य नहीं करने चाहिए। व्रत रखना चाहिए देवउठनी एकादशी के दिन व्रत रखने का विशेष महत्व है। कहते है इससे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। इस दिन निर्जल या केवल जलीय प्रदार्थो पर उपवास रखना चाहिए। अगर आप इस दिन उपवास नहीं कर सकते तो चावल, प्याज, लहसुन, मांस, मदिरा, बासी भोजन आदि बिलकुल भी न करे। देव एवं तुलसी उपासना करिये इस दिन भगवान विष्णु या अपने इष्ट देव की उपासना […]
